Six Arrested Following Early Morning Warrants Targeting Motorbike Theft Gang

This morning, officers from the Town Hall Neighbourhood Team executed seven warrants at addresses across Manchester and Salford as part of an investigation into a series of motorbike thefts.

During February and March 2026, the City Centre experienced a significant increase in motorbike thefts. An investigation was launched, resulting in the identification and arrest of a suspect. While further enquiries were being conducted, officers identified six additional individuals believed to be operating as part of an organised criminal group responsible for entering the city and stealing motorbikes.

As a result, Operation Silverhollow was established to identify those involved and bring them to justice.

Following extensive enquiries, officers secured seven warrants, which were executed at 6am this morning. Six individuals were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including theft of motor vehicles and conspiracy to steal.

During the warrants, officers also recovered:
